Provided hardware and software technical support to end users, including;

The evaluation, acquisition, assembly, installation, configuration, troubleshooting and general maintenance of IBM compatible PC's and peripherals.

The design, implementation and troubleshooting of networks within LAN and WAN environments. Protocols included IPX/SPX, TCP/IP and NetBEUI.

Configure and provide internet and e-mail application support.

Worked as a temporary staff person in technical, customer service, data entry and administrative capacities at various corporate locations.

Wrote a program to solve Pastel Accounting/Bookkeeper backup problems in Windows 9x/NT.

Wrote programs to facilitate stock-take and data entry, and transfer data between Tetraplan and Pastel.

Extensive working knowledge of most software for IBM PC compatible computers, including accounting packages, integrated office suites, Desktop publishing packages, graphics design and editing packages, presentation packages, project management packages, and utility packages in various operating system environments. Limited working knowledge of the various software development packages for Windows and DOS.

Hands-on working experience with IBM PC compatible computer hardware, which includes designing, assembling, deploying, and maintaining mid-range network servers.
